Introduction of Endofert H Tablet

Endofert H Tablet contains Estradiol 2 mg, a form of estrogen, which is one of the main female sex hormones. It is used as hormone replacement therapy (HRT) when the body does not produce enough estrogen, particularly around or after menopause.

It may help manage symptoms associated with estrogen deficiency, including hot flushes, night sweats, vaginal dryness, vaginal itching and other menopausal symptoms. It may also be prescribed to help prevent osteoporosis in selected postmenopausal women at increased risk of bone loss.

Endofert H should be used only under the supervision of a qualified healthcare professional.

How Endofert H Tablet Works

Endofert H contains estradiol, which works by replacing or supplementing estrogen that the body is no longer producing in sufficient amounts.

During menopause or certain ovarian conditions, estrogen levels can decrease. This can lead to symptoms such as hot flushes, night sweats, vaginal dryness and gradual loss of bone density. Estradiol helps restore estrogen activity in the body and can therefore reduce symptoms related to estrogen deficiency.

Safety Advice

Pregnancy: Endofert H should not be used during pregnancy. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or think you may be pregnant.

Breast cancer: Tell your doctor if you have or have previously had breast cancer or another estrogen-dependent cancer. Estrogen therapy may not be suitable in these circumstances.

Unexplained vaginal bleeding: Do not start this medicine without medical evaluation if you have unexplained or abnormal vaginal bleeding.

Blood clots: Inform your doctor if you have a history of blood clots in the legs or lungs, or a blood-clotting disorder. Estrogen therapy can increase the risk of venous blood clots.

Heart & stroke risk: Discuss your cardiovascular history with your doctor before starting treatment, particularly if you have previously experienced a stroke, heart attack or other significant cardiovascular problems.

Liver disease: Inform your doctor about any liver disease or previous liver problems. Endofert H may require special consideration in patients with liver impairment.

Breast monitoring: Follow your doctor’s recommendations for regular breast examinations and screening while using hormone therapy.

Other medicines: Tell your doctor about all prescription medicines, over-the-counter medicines, vitamins and supplements you take because some medicines can affect estradiol treatment.

Important: Endofert H is a hormone medicine and should not be self-medicated. The lowest effective dose for the appropriate duration should be determined by your doctor based on your individual condition and treatment goals.
