Sorabuzz 200mg tablet belongs to the class of cancer medications known as multikinase inhibitors containing the active ingredient sorafenib. Sorabuzz 200mg tablet is a medication primarily used in the treatment of advanced renal cell carcinoma (kidney cancer), hepatocellular carcinoma (liver cancer), and thyroid cancer.

It is not recommended to take Sorabuzz 200mg tablet if you are allergic to the active compound and other ingredients of the medicine. Speak with your doctor immediately if you experience skin rashes, heart problems, chest pain, bleeding problems, high blood pressure, or have had or are about to have surgery. It is not recommended for use in children and adolescents.  Patients with diabetes should have their blood sugar levels examined frequently to see whether the dosage of anti-diabetic medications needs to be changed to reduce the risk of low blood sugar. Your doctor will monitor liver function tests, fluid and electrolyte balance to help identify and manage potential side effects promptly.

Specifically, it targets receptors for vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF), and Raf kinases, which play key roles in cancer development and progression.  This stops the growth and spread of the tumor cells to other organs, as well the formation of blood vessels in the tumor cells.
