Introduction of Travopure Eye Drops 5 ml
Travopure Eye Drops 5 ml are prescribed to manage increased intraocular pressure (pressure inside the eye). They are mainly used in the treatment of glaucoma and ocular hypertension. By effectively lowering eye pressure, Travopure helps reduce the risk of optic nerve damage and supports long-term eye health. It is often recommended for patients who need regular, long-term therapy.
Description
Travopure contains Travoprost, a prostaglandin analog that works by improving the natural drainage of fluid (aqueous humor) from the eye. When excess fluid drains properly, eye pressure decreases. Travopure is commonly available in a preservative-free or gentle formulation, which makes it suitable for people with sensitive eyes or those who need prolonged use. Regular use as advised by an eye specialist is important to achieve the best results.
How to Use
Use Travopure Eye Drops only as directed by your doctor.
Wash your hands thoroughly before applying the drops.
Shake the bottle gently if advised.
Tilt your head backward and pull down the lower eyelid to form a small pocket.
Instill one drop into the affected eye(s), usually once daily in the evening, unless instructed otherwise.
Close your eyes gently for 1–2 minutes after application.
Avoid blinking excessively or rubbing your eyes.
Do not let the dropper tip touch your eye, eyelid, or any surface to prevent contamination.
If you use other eye medicines, wait at least 5–10 minutes before applying another drop.
Side Effects
Travopure is generally well tolerated, but some people may experience mild to moderate side effects, such as:
Eye redness or irritation
Burning or stinging sensation after use
Dryness, itching, or discomfort in the eyes
Increased sensitivity to light
Gradual darkening of the colored part of the eye (iris) with long-term use
Increased eyelash length, thickness, or darkening
These effects are usually mild and temporary. However, if you notice severe irritation, vision changes, eye pain, or any unusual symptoms, seek medical advice promptly.
