Therapeutic Effects of Plamumab 40mg Injection

The active ingredient in this medicine is a human monoclonal antibody. Monoclonal antibodies are proteins that attach to a specific target. The target of Plamumab 40mg Injection is a protein called tumor necrosis factor (TNFα), which is involved in the immune (defense) system and at increased levels in the inflammatory diseases.  By attaching to TNFα, Humira decreases inflammation in these diseases.
