Introduction to Kyzific 40mg Tablet

Kyzific 40mg tablet contains the active substance Asciminib. It is an anticancer medicine that belongs to the class tyrosine kinase receptor inhibitors.

Kyzific 40mg tablet is used to treat a certain type of chronic myeloid leukaemia (CML; a type of cancer of the white blood cells) in a chronic phase (CP)  who have been previously treated with two or more tyrosine kinase inhibitors. It works by inhibiting the  BCR-ABL1 tyrosine kinase, a fusion protein resulting from the Philadelphia chromosome translocation in chronic myeloid leukaemia (CML). It binds specifically to the myristoyl pocket of the ABL1 domain within the BCR-ABL1 protein, inducing a conformational change that locks the protein in an inactive state and inhibits its oncogenic activity.
